The Massachusetts Association of Assessing Officers (MAAO) and the Northeast Association (NRAAO) of Assessing Officers would like to invite you to participate in the 2018 NRAAO Annual Conference April 29 through May 2, 2018, being held at the Boston Marriott Quincy. For those of you who have supported our efforts in the past, we would like to take this time to thank you for your support.
This year the MAAO will be hosting the 2018 NRAAO Annual Conference. The MAAO has been working with the NRAAO diligently to put together the program of events which includes a top-notch education program, amazing social activities, and the NRAAO Annual Golf Tournament, being held this year at the South Shore Country Club in Hingham, Massachusetts.
We have our Vendor Special Value Package that includes Conference registration includes Sunday night reception, Monday breakfast and lunch with vendors, as well as all education sessions; Vendor displays will be open to all attendees Sunday evening during Welcome Reception and Monday morning through the Lunch with Vendors; Two conference registrations; Full page ad in Program Book; and, Golf Hole Sponsorship. This special value package will only be good until February 1, 2018, after that you will still have the opportunity to register, but each item will need to be purchased separately.
We are looking for your support to help make our conference a memorable event! As part of our planning and determining the cost of the event for our members, we are looking for additional sponsorship from our vendors. This year we have many different sponsorship opportunities and we have grouped these opportunities in to different financial sponsorship categories. The MAAO hosts an online portal for registration, making your ability to register for sponsorship very easy (and we even take credit cards!) Please review the various sponsorship levels and what you can select for sponsorship within each level.
With any sponsorship level, we will be recognizing our sponsors in our program booklet, as well we will provide signage at each event that you are sponsoring. We would also welcome any suggestions you might have regarding how to spotlight your sponsorship during our event, i.e., if you have a banner or flag that can be used during your sponsored event.
The MAAO is sponsoring this conference this year and as such is responsible for the registrations. The MAAO utilizes an online registration database and therefore this is how we ask you register. For those organizations that are a member of the MAAO, you will use your regular log-in information to register. For those businesses that are not members, you have the ability to create a log-in profile on the Log-in screen by clicking the “New Visitor Registration”. To assist you in this process, we have included 2 attachments. One attachment is the Vendor pricing and sponsorship information and the other is directions on how to navigate from beginning to end, the MAAO registration database, which can be found at www.maao.org.
Conference registration and hotel information has not yet been released. I will forward that information out to you as soon as we make it available to our membership. Rooms at the Boston Marriott Quincy will be $155++.
